Erickson, Chairman Gentlemen: The Board of County Commissioners for Oakland County and the Board of County Road Commissioners have recently reviewed your state trunk line construction program for Oakland County and are pleased to note that several long needed improvements are programmed for early construction. They will have a major impact on our transportation system and will be widely appreciated. However, there are several trunk line routes that are in dire need of construction that are not currently programmed and on which we urge your strongest consideration for programming and improvement at the earliest possible date. They are as follows: No. 1 Priority 1. M-150 (Rochester Road) - M-59 to Big Beaver 4.3 miles; 20,300 V.P.D. Reconstruct to five lanes with curb and gutter. 2. U.S. 10 (Telegraph Road) - Dixie Highway to 1-75 at Baldwin 2.3 miles. Construct all new route to a 6 lane divided. 4.
