Moffitt, Vice Chairman IN RE: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: The Committee on Organization recommends the following appointments: Personnel Appeal Board James W. Dun leavy - for the 1-year term expiring December 31, 1973 Social Services Board Richard Headlee - for the 3-year term expiring December 31, 1975 Board of Institutions Lew L. Coy - for the 3-year term expiring December 31, 197-4-C" Inter-County Highway Commission Donald C. Quinn, Jr. - for the term expiring December 31, 1974 COMMITTEE ON ORGANIZATION Lillian V. Moffitt, Vice Chairman Nominations in order for member of the Personnel Appeal Board. Mrs. Moffitt nominated James W. Dunleavy. Seconded by Mr. Richardson. Moved by Richardson supported by Lennon that nominations be closed. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the motion carried. The Chairman called for a vote on the appointment of James W. Dunleavy as a member of the Personnel Appeal Board. The vote was as follows: AYES: Douglas, Dunleavy, Gabler, Hobart, Hoot, Kasper, Lennon, Mathews, Moffitt, Montante, Olson, Patnales, Pernick, Quinn, Richardson, Vogt, walker, Berman, Brotherton, Burley, Button, Coy, Dearborn. (23) NAYS: None. (0) A sufficient majority having voted therefor, James W. Dunleavy declared elected a member of the Personnel Appeal Board for a one-year term expiring December 31, 1973. Nominations in order for member of the Social Services Board. Mrs. Moffitt nominated Richard Headlee. Seconded by Mr. Gabler. Moved by Lennon supported by Richardson that nominations be closed. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the motion carried. The Chairman called for a vote on the appointment of Richard Headlee as a member of the Social Services Board. The vote was as follows: AYES: Dunleavy, Gabler, Hobart, Hoot, Kasper, Lennon, Mathews, Moffitt, Montante, Olson, Patnales, Pernick, Quinn, Richardson, Vogt, Walker, Berman, Brotherton, Burley, Button, Coy, Dearborn, Douglas. (23) NAYS: Nor. (0) A sufficient majority having voted therefor, Richard Headlee declared elected a member of the Social Services Board for a three-year term expiring December 31, 1975. Nominations in order for member of the Board of Institutions. Mrs. Moffitt nominated Lew L. Coy. Seconded by Miss Hobart. Moved by Lennon supported by Berman that nominations be closed. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the motion carried. The Chairman called for a vote on the appointment of Lew L. Coy as a member of the Board of Institutions. The vote was as follows: AYES: Gabler, Hobart, Hoot, Kasper, Lennon, Mathews, Moffitt, Montante, Olson, Patnales, Pernick, Quinn, Richardson, Vogt, Walker, Berman, Brotherton, Burley, Button, Coy, Dearborn, Douglas, Dunleavy, (23) MAYS: None. (0) A sufficient majority having voted therefor, Lew L. Coy declared elected a member of the Board of Institutions for a three-year term expiring December 31, 1975. Nominations in order for member of the Inter-County Highway Commission. Mrs. Moffitt nominated Donald C. Quinn, Jr. Seconded by Mr. Hoot. Moved by Dunleavy supported by Montante that nominations be closed. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the motion carried. The Chairman called for a vote on the appointment of Donald C. Quinn, Jr. as a member of the Inter-County Highway Commission. The vote was as follows: AYES: Hobart, Hoot, Kasper, Lennon, Mathews, Moffitt, Montante, Patnales, Quinn, Richardson, Vogt, Walker, Wilcox, Berman, Brotherton, Burley, Button, Coy, Dearborn, Douglas, Dunleavy, Gabler. (22) NAYS: None. (0) • • A sufficient majority having voted therefor, Donald C. Quinn, Jr. declared elected a member of the Inter-County Highway Commission for term expiring December 31, 1974.
