IN RE: C.E.T.A. TITLE I ON-THE-JOB TRAINING CONTRACTS (Phase 12A)
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous
Resolution No. 6546 applied for and was granted the designation by the U.S.
Department of Labor of Prime Sponsor to administer the provisions of Title I
of the Comprehensive Employment Training act of 1973; and
WHEREAS, Oakland County's C.E.T.A. Title I Grant Application has
been filed and approved by the U.S. Department of Labor; and
WHEREAS, On-the-job Training represents a major component in
Oakland County's approved Manpower Program; and
WHEREAS, the Oakland County Manpower Advisory Council recommends
the contract included herein as Phase 12A for Oakland County's C.E.T.A. Title 1
On-the-Job Training Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Com-
miss±7ners approves the award of Phase I2A of C.E.T.A. Title I On-the-Job
Trainng contracts in the total amount of $246,101 consistent with the attached

Work Experience Program.
2. That the employer assure the Prime Sponsor that no trainees will be laid
off from current employment to re-enroll them in the OJT training program.
3. That there is not a conflict of interest between the employer as OJT
contractor and as Consultant to OLHSA on other Federal programs.
