HOBART, CHAIRPERSON IN RE: SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT - AUTHORIZATION TO RECEIVE BIDS - TRUSTY CAMP SITE WORK TO: OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, MR. CHAIRPERSON, LADIES, AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, the entrance road to the Animal Care Facility and the Trusty Camp is a gravel road; and WHEREAS, the road requires constant grading and maintenance; and WHEREAS, the road is receiving heavier use because of the expansion of the Trusty Camp; and WHEREAS, the asphalt paving of the entrance road and the Trusty Camp parking area is estimated to cost $50,000; and WHEREAS, funding for this project is available in the Trusty Camp Site Work line item of the Utilities Section of the 1986 Capital Improvement Program, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Central Services be, and is hereby authorized to develop the necessary drawings and specifications for the Trusty Camp Site Work, to advertise, receive bids, and report thereon upon receipt and tabulation of such bids.
