IN RE: CORPORATION COUNSEL/REAL ESTATE SECTION - Quit Claim
of Road Right of Way (part of Manotic Drive) Addison
Township, to Oakland County Road Commission
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS:
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, in 1954, the Oakland County Road Commission
acquired a parcel of land in Section 27 of Addison Township, in
the name of the County of Oakland.
WHEREAS, this parcel was acquired for public use as a
road (part of Manotic Drive); and
WHEREAS, the Oakland County Road Commission, through
John M. Wilson, Attorney, and Rights of Way Division, is
requesting the County of Oakland quit claim this property to the
Oakland County Road Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Corporation Counsel, Real
Estate Section, recommends the conveyance of the parcel to the
Oakland County Road Commission.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County
Board of Commissioners approves the conveyance of this land to
the Board of Oakland County Road Commissions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board
of Commissioners directs its Chairperson to execute said Quit
Claim Deed.
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Planning and Building
Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.

the following described premises situation in the Township of Addison County of Oa n1 and State of
Michigan, to-wit:
A parcel of land Thirty feet wide running Parallel to and abutting the boundary line
of Lakeview Road, between the East boundary line of Chippewa Drive (now Catch e - ,nr;) and the East
boundary line of Lot 22 of Betts Subdivision extended S'ly. 5 0 30' E. 30 feet, e:-)rding to a plat
recorded in Liber 20, Page 19, Oakland County Records; said Parcel being a strip of land 30' wide off
the north side of the following described Parcels of land situate in Addison Twp., Oakland County,
Michigan, to-wit: Lot Three (3) of "Billington's Lakeville Lake Subdivision", a subchvision of part of
the Southeast quarter of Northwest quarter of Section 27, Town 5 North, Range 11 East, Addison
Township, Oakland County, Michigan, according to Plat recorded in Liber 28 of Plats, page 50, Oakland
County Register of Deeds Office.
Also a part of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 27, Town 5 North,
Range 11 East, Addison Township, Oakland County, Michigan, described as follows: Beginning at a point
in the westerly shore line of Lakeville Lake, which point is located South 1 040'30" west 33 feet and
south 88°09'30" east 380 feet and north 1°40'30" east 313 feet and south 88°09'30" east 81 feet from
the southeast corner of Lot Three (3) of "Billington's Lakeville Lake Subdivision" thence from said point
of beginning retrace to the southeast corner of said Lot Three (3) of Billington's Lakeville Lake
Subdivision; thence north on the east line of said Lot Three to the southerly line of Lakeview Drive,
as shown on plat of "Betts Subdivision", as same is recorded in Liber 20 of Plats, page 19, said
Register's Office; thence following the southerly line of said Lakeview Drive to the southeast corner
of "Sett', Subdivision", thence North 5°30' west to the southeast corner of Lot Twenty-two (22) of said
"Bett's a'. Jivision", thence south 60°32' east 45.4 feet; thence south 85°13' east to the westerly shore
line of Lakeville Lake; thence southwesterly along said shore line to the point of beginning. Excepting
flowage rights and the rights of others than the owner of the above described land in and to the waters
of said lake, also the rights granted by roadway agreement are excepted, which agreement was recorded
December 16, 1941, in Liber 1823, page 351, said Register's Office. Also excepting from the above
described premises a strip of land thirty (30) feet in width extending east from Lakeview Drive as shown
by plat of "Betts Subdivision" to Lakeville Lake, so as to form a continuance of Lakeview Drive so as
to give lot owners facing on Lakeville Lake the right of ingress and egress to and from their property
to Lakeview Drive, said extended roadway being off the north side of the description herein conveyed.
together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or
in anywise appertaining, for the sum of tax exempt - Governmental Agency Grantor P.A. 134, 1966 Sec.
