Hobart, Chairperson IN RE: CORPORATION COUNSEL/REAL ESTATE SECTION - Quit Claim of Road Right of Way (part of Manotic Drive) Addison Township, to Oakland County Road Commission TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS: Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, in 1954, the Oakland County Road Commission acquired a parcel of land in Section 27 of Addison Township, in the name of the County of Oakland. WHEREAS, this parcel was acquired for public use as a road (part of Manotic Drive); and WHEREAS, the Oakland County Road Commission, through John M. Wilson, Attorney, and Rights of Way Division, is requesting the County of Oakland quit claim this property to the Oakland County Road Commission; and WHEREAS, the Department of Corporation Counsel, Real Estate Section, recommends the conveyance of the parcel to the Oakland County Road Commission. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approves the conveyance of this land to the Board of Oakland County Road Commissions. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners directs its Chairperson to execute said Quit Claim Deed.
