IN RE: Public-PrivAte Sthdy Committee for County Operations
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY Bo.',tH OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Hdies and Gentlemen:

flle, most-efficient delivery of service for their constituents; and.
the Chamber of Commerce And many concerned. citizens have
offered their talent and expertise to carry out this goal; and
WHEREAS a partnership of private and public interests will be.
beneficial in helping to solve problems an ,1 otoce services of Oakland
County.
NOW TitTLFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the committee shall be a u:csiied by
the Chairperson of the Board of Con.4-ioners with the concurrence of the
board. The committee shall. be compose.: of op to 25 members with the
appointed b y the chairperson of the I . a The :ft.tc,E Us
shall include representation. From each political. caucus -f 7—ard oL
Commissioners, members oj ulcHiers of Commerce, ConnL s 4nd
concerned citizens with expertise in the area being studied bp the
c tee each year. The term of appointment shall be lor one -yat: with
the first appointments ending December Slut, 1985. The mission of the
committee shall be to study areas of count y operations referred to tt by
the Board of Commissioners throu gh its Oversight Committee and feport
their findings ncd recommendations to the full Board of Commissioners.
