MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION # 85297 October 24, 1985

IN RE: HEALTH DIVISION - 1985-86 TB OUTREACH GRANT ACCEPTANCE
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS Miscellaneous Resolution #8145 requires the Finance Committee to
review acceptance of all grants that vary less than ten (10) percent from the
original grant application; and
WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous Resolution
#85225 authorized application for the TB Outreach Grant, in the amount of $24,505
for the time period October 1, 1985 through September 30, 1986; and
WHEREAS the Finance Committee has reviewed said grant as approved by the
Michigan Department of Public Health, and finds the grant award in the amount of
$24,505, the same as the original grant application for the same time period; and
WHEREAS said program is 100% funded by the State; and
WHEREAS application or acceptance of this grant does not obligate the County
to any future commitment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners
accepts the TB Outreach Grant in the amount of $24,505, as per the attached
schedule.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairperson of the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners be and is hereby authorized to execute said grant contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairperson of this Board is hereby
authorized to approve minor changes and grant extensions, not to exteed a ten
percent variance, which are consistent with the grant as approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this grant contract has been reviewed and
approved as to form by the Office of Corporation Counsel.
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Finance Committee, I move the adoption of
the foregoing resolution.
