TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF CCMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
MIEREAS the Oakland. County Board of Commissioners (Miscel-
laneous Resolution 84127) authorized disposal of Lot 613, except south
15 feet, Ferry •aiM. Addition, described as:
T3N, R10E, Section 33 Subdivism of Lots 235,236,237,
238,239,240,241,247,248 and South one-half of Lot 246
and West 150 feet of North one-half of Lot. 246 and West
150 feet of Lots 243,244,245 of Ferry Farm Addition
Lot 613, &cept South 15 feet, City of Pontiac, Oak-
land County, Michigan: and
WHEREAS there were no offers received, following publication
in July 1984; and
Wf-MPEAS the current use of the property is vacant and unused.; and
WHEREAS the property has been appraised at S5,500 by James
M. Fuller, NBA, MAT, ASA, AND William E. Hoover, Assistant Manager-
Equalization, appraised the property at $4,000; and
WHEREAS any monies realized from the sale of the property shall
be deposited in the Indigent Housing Account; and
WHEREAS Lessel L, Hanspard, whose address is 2266 Cha.ppertham
Chase Rochester, 'Michigan 48064, has submitted. an offer of $3,500 on land
contract terms and included a personal check deposit of $350. for said
property; and
-WHEREAS the City of Pontiac has submitted an offer of $5,100.,
cash payment upon closing; and
WHEREAS the Department of Corporation. Counsel, Real Estate
Section recommends acceptance of the City of Pontiac's offer of $5,100.; and
WHEREAS the Planning and Building Committee has reviewed the
"Offer to Purchase" form,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland. County Board of
Commissioners hereby authorized the Chairperson of the Board of Cmaissioners
to execute the necessary document for the sale of said property to the
City of Pontiac for $5,100,
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Planning and Building
Committe, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.

Miscellaneous Resolution #85306 adopted by the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners at their regular meeting held on October 24, 1985
with the orginial record thereof now remaining in my office, and
that it is a true and correct transcript therefrom, and of the
whole thereof.
