LANNI, CHAIRPERS07'-: IN RE: PROSECUTOR'S DEPARTMENT-I986 COOPERATIVE RM,717.,"Jr.Z.S:..:',..7'ENT GRANT APPLICATION TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISS!C:•.:7S Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, The Public Services Committee has reviewed the 1986 Cooperative Reimbursement Grant Application - Prosecutor; and WHEREAS, this is the fourteenth year of a continuing grant; and WHEREAS, this grant covers the period of January 1, 1986 through December 31, 1986; and WHEREAS, total funding for the 1986 grant is $652,095, of which $540,000 (82.8%) would be State funded and $112,095 (17.2%) would be County funded. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners authorizes the 1986 Cooperative Reimbursement Grant Application- Prosecutor in the amount of $652,095. Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I recommend the adoption of the foregoing resolution. PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE 610 REPORT TO PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE BY: FINANCE COMMITTEE, DR. G. WILLIAM CADDELL, CHAIRPERSON IN RE: PROSECUTOR'S DEPARTMENT-1986 COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT APPLICATION The Finance Committee has reviewed the 1986 Cooperative Reimbursement Program Application and finds: 1) This is the fourteenth year of a continuing grant for the purpose of establishing paternity for children receiving ADC, and investigating and prosecuting cases of fraud directly related to child support; 2) This grant covers a period January 1, 1986 through December 31, 1986; 3) The total program request is $652,095, a $8,979 increase over the 1985 program. 4) Of the $652,095 requested, $540,000 or 82.8% would be State funds and $112,095 or 17.2% will be County costs; 5) Application or acceptance of this grant does not obligate the County beyond the Grant period. A cost breakdown is provided in the attached schedule. Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Finance Committee, I recommend acceptance of the foregoing report and referral of the information contained therein to the Public Services Committee in accordance with Miscellaneous Resolution 118145, revised Federal and State Grant application procedures.
