Hobart, Chairperson RE: CORPORATION COUNSEL, REAL ESTATE SECTION - CLINTON-OAKLAND SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM - QUIT CLAIM OF EASEMENT TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the County of Oakland obtained permanent Easements over and across a parcel of property in the Township of Waterford known as parcel No. 13-34-402-001 for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a sewage disposal system; and WHEREAS prior to construction, the route for the sewer was altered and a new Easement was acquired; and WHEREAS the County no longer needs the above-cited permanent Easement and, further, the Easement interferes with the owner's use of his property; and WHEREAS the Drain Commissioner, through Frank Naglich, Assistant Chief Engineer, recommends that this permanent Easement be quit claimed back to the property owner. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approves the quit claiming of a permanent Easement to the fee property owner as it is no longer needed by the County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners directs its Chairperson to execute said Quit Claim Deed.
