McDonald, Ch IN RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CLASSIFICATION OF IHIEF OF INSTITUTIONAL AND ALIMONY ACCOUNTING TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS in recent years the Accountin Division has assumed total accounting responsibilities formerly assigned t the Drain Commissioner, Division of Sewer, Water, and Solid Waste, Fri d of the Court - Alimony, and the Medical Care Facility; and WHEREAS these additional responsibililies have placed a heavy burden on the existing supervisory staff; and WHEREAS the State of Michigan has rec tly changed the reporting requirements and format for all Health Departme t accounting; and WHEREAS this will mean yet an additio al increase in the work of the Accounting Division which cannot be adequately sorbed with current staff, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the classification of Chief of Institutional and Alimony Accounting be establi ed with the following salary range: 23,006 24,315 I 25,620 2 ,910 28,165 No BASE 1 YEAR 2 YEAR 3 YEAR 4 YEAR 0/T and that one budgeted Chief of Institutional an' Alimony Accounting position be established in the Accounting Division. g Ml BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the curre t Manager of Data Processing Operations be placed in the new position of Chi f of Institutional and Alimony Accounting and that the incumbent remai at his current annual salary of $29,437 until such time that the salary ran of the classification of Chief of Institutional and Alimony Accounting e uals or exceeds that amount. The Personnel Committee, by John J. Donald, Chairperson, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. HAIRPERSON CHIEF OF INSTITUTIONAL AND ERS e Committee has reviewed Miscellaneous Jnd the position for the remainder of 1979. amended to reflect a maximum salary of FINA E COMMITTEE DENN URPHY, CHAIRPVISON FISCAL NOTE BY: FINANCE COMMITTEE, DENNIS MURPHY, IN RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CLASSIFICATION ALIMONY ACCOUNTING - MISCELLANEOIS RESOLUTION 08844 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSII Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: Pursuant to Rule XI-C of this Board, the Final Resolution 0 8844 and finds $16,436 will be required to The Committee further recommends that the resolution I $28,165.00. #8844 May 3, 1979 Moved by McDonald supported by Roth the rep rt be accepted and Resolution #8844 be adopted. Moved by Moxley supported by Fortino the re lution be amended in the NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED paragraph by deleting the followi , "the incumbent remain at his current annual salary of $29,437 until such time that th salary range of the classification of Chief of Institutional and Alimony Accounting eq Is or exceeds that amount" and inserting "the 4th year annual salary range of $ ,165 of the classification of Chief of Institutional and Alimony Accounting shall be pplicable for this position." A sufficient majority having voted therefor the amendment carried. Moved by Murphy supported by Perinoff the F ance Committee Report be amended to read, "The Finance Committee finds the sum of 16,436 available from the Computer Services appropriation; said funds are to be tra ferred to the salaries line items in the Accounting Division's budget." A sufficient majority having voted therefor' the amendment carried.
