WHEREAS, during the construction of the Clinton-Oakland .'sewage disposal s),,stem -
Waterford Township Extensions, the County acquired title to certain parcels of land
and

1/2 of the southwest 114, and part of the south 112 of t}.:c 11.61-thwesr 1/4 of Section
34, Town 3 North, Range 9 East, Waterford TownshAP, Cialaand Coupry, M -L.:.higaa, accor -
ding to thc. plat thereof as recorded in Liber 40 of Plats, P .ages 20 and 20A, Oakland

THEREFORE BE, IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commisioners hereby direct the
Property Mana g ement Division to sf-lI said Lot_ 95, followng the procedures set forth
by the 11 -110nnd County Board of Commissioners in Rule K-7, 1 and 2.

Lot No. 95, "Elizabeth-Cass Heights", being a subdivision in the north 1/2 of the
southwest 1/4, and part of the south 1/2 of the northwest 1/4 of Section 34, Town
3 North, Range 9 East, Waterford Township, Oakland County, Michigan, according to
the Plat thereof as recorded in Liber 40 of Plats, Pages 20 and 20A, Oakland
County Records.
Purchased August 10, 1970
Purchase Price - $850.00
Purpose - Sanitary Sewer System
RECOV1ENDATION:
Property Management Division, Waterford Township and the Drain Commission recom-
mends retaining a sanitary sewer easement over the entire lot and offer for sale.
RECC:TIENDED SALE PRICE AND TERMS:
A buildable lot of this size and in this area would sell for about $0.83 a square
foot or $5,000.00 for Lot 95. Retaining an easement over the entire lot would
reduce the value to about 15 percent of what a buildable lot would be. Therefore,
we could place a selling price of $750.00 on Lot 95. The Property Management
Division's recommendation would be to sell for $750.00 cash. This will cover all
costs involved.
