WILLIAM CADDELL, CHAIRPERSON IN RE: 1984 COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION - PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE The Finance Committee has reviewed the 1984 Cooperative Reimbursement Program Application and finds: 1) This is the twelfth year of a continuing grant for the purpose of establishing paternity for children receiving ADC, and investigating and prosecuting cases of fraud directly related to child support, 2) This grant covers a period January 1, 1984 through December31, 1984, 3) The total program request is $571,032, or $28,854 or 5.3% more than the 1983 program. Included in the $28,854 difference are increases: $23,210, Salaries and Fringe Benefit costs; $1,237 Indirect costs; and $4,407 Operating costs, 4) Of the $571,032 requested, $484,780 or 85% would be State funds and $86,252 or 15% will be County costs, 5) Application or acceptance of this grant does not obligate the County beyond the Grant period. A complete cost breakdown is provided in the attached schedule. Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Finance Committee, I recommend acceptance of the foregoing report and referral of the information contained therein to the Public Services Committee in accordance with Miscellaneous Resolution #8145, revised Federal and State Grant application procedures. LANNI, CHAIRPERSON IN RE: 1984 COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT GRANT APPLICATION-PROSECUTOR TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Public Services Committee has reviewed the 1984 Cooperative Reimbursement Grant Application - Prosecutor; and WHEREAS this is the twelfth year of a continuing grant; and WHEREAS this grant covers the period of January 1, 1984 through December 31, 1984; and WHEREAS total funding for the 1984 grant is $571,032, of which $484,780 (85%) would be State funded and $86,252 (15%) would be County funded. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commis- sioners authorizes the 1984 Cooperative Reimbursement Grant Application- Prosecutor in the amount of $571,032. Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I recommend the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
