RESOLUTION NO.
RE: RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL EDC MEMBERS
OAKWOOD BUILDERS & ASSOCIATES MANUFACTURING PROJECT
BY: PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE
TO: THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, this Board of Commissioners has received
a Resolution from the Board of Directors of The Economic
Development Corporation of the County of Oakland designating
a project area and project district area for the Oakwood
Builders & Associates Manufacturing Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to confirm the appoint-
ment by the County Executive of the County of Oakland of two
additional directors to the Board of said Economic Develop- '
ment Corporation in connection with said Project, in accord-
ance with Section 4(2) of the Economic Development Corpora-
tions Act, Act 338 of 1974, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF OAKLAND, AS FOLLOWS:
1. Patrick M. Dohany and Paul T. Col lam
being representative of neighborhood residents and business
interests likely to be affected by said Project, are hereby
appointed to the Board of Directors of The Economic Develop-
. ment Corporation of the County of Oakland in accordance 7,-Lth
Section 4(2) of Act 338 of 1974, as amended.
Patrick M. Dohany and Paul T. Collom
shall cease to serve when the Project for which they are
appointed is either abandoned or, if undertaken, is comple-
ted in accordance with the Project Plan therefor.
2. All resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
with this Resolution are hereby repealed, but only to the
extent of such conflict.
3. The County Clerk be, and is hereby directed
to provide four certified copies of this resolution to
the Secretary of the Board of the Corporation.

ChaiLwan, moves for adoption of the foregoing resolution.

OF THE COUNTY OF OAKLAND
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of The Economic Development Cor-
poration of the County of Oakland (the "EDC") did on September 16
1980, adopt a Resolution Requesting Appointment of Additional
Directors to the EDC for the Oakwood Builders & Associates
Manufacturing Project; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Act 338, Public Acts of 1974, as
amended, it is incumbent upon me, with the advice and consent of he
Board of Commissioners, to appoint two (2) additional directors to the
Board of Directors of the EDC for said Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, I DO HEREBY APPOINT AND DO HEREBY REQUEST YOUR
ADVICE and CONSENT to the appointment of the following persons to act
as the additional directors of The Economic Development Corporation of
the County of Oakland for the Oakwood Builders & Associates Manu-
facturing Project; and whose terms shall cease when the project for
which they are appointed is either abandoned or, if undertaken, is
completed in accordance with the project plan.

E. D. C. Board of Directors to represent the Commerce Township
Board on project 80-14 by the Oakwood Builders Associates.
