IN RE: CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL GRANT APP
The Finance Committee has reviewed the subject Criminal Justice
Coordinating Council Grant Application and finds:
1) The grant calls for total funding of $116,333 during the
period of October 1, 1980 through September 30, 1981.
2) Of the $116,333, $72,599 is for salaries of three positions,
$25,726 is for associated Fringe Benefits, and $18,008 is for operating
costs.
3) The source of funding is fifty percent (50%) Federal ($58,166)
and fifty percent (50%) County ($58,167).
4) Application or acceptance of the subject Grant does not obligate
the County beyond the Grant period.
Mr Chairperson, on behalf of the Finance Committee, I move the
acceptance of the foregoing report and referral of the information
contained therein to the Public Services Committee in accordance with
Miscellaneous Resolution #8145 - Federal and State Grant Procedures.

M.T* Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
=PEAS, funding is avaiThIle for a Criminal Justice
Coordinating and Planning function in Oakland County; and
WEPREAS, the Criminal Justice Coordinating and Planning
function is an on-going program in support of the Oakland. County Criminal
Justice Coorddnatimg Council; and
WHEREAS, the Criminal Justice C•••cdinating and
function i- -stelMigal. to the realisation of the greatest benefit by Oakland
County citizcra of criminal justice resources; and
EB77 $:v7, the Criminal Justice Planning and Coordinating
function is nececsary to comply with Federal guidelines governing the
termination of the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration (LEW program
in Oakland County; and
WHEREAS, the total program will amount to $116,333 of which
358,167 is reimbursable rc-ga -Federal [mods and the remaining $58,161 is
County funding,

of Commissioners nthorizes the C••naty of Oakland to apply for funding
