MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION 9659 December 11, 1980

IN RE: CLASSROOM TRAINING TITLE II - PROGRAMS
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous
Resolution No. 6546 and 8883 applied for and was granted the designation as
Prime Sponsor by the U. S. Department of Labor to administer the provisions
of the Conprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 and the Comprehensive
Employment and Training Act Arendments of 1978; and
WHEREAS TITLE IIB Classroom Training Allocation is expected to
increase from $2,287,922.87 to $2,758,054.00; and
WHEREAS the State Special Governors Grant Non-Financial agreement
is expected to increase from $549,008.00 to $714,830.00; and
WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous
Resolution No. 955-9- approved 28 classes; and
the number of classes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners approves to contract under this Title of CETA with the
Contractors in accordance with the attached schedule contingent upon funding
allocation from The Department of Labor.
77 IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a written quarterly report for review of
performance objectives will be submitted to the Public Services Committee and
the Oakland County Board of Commissioners.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairperson of the Board of
Commissioners be and is hereby authorized to execute said contracts,
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I move
the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
