HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1980.02.14 - 118839298 Dat e FEBRUARY 14, 1980 Miscellaneous Resolution lam Tibet, Chairmahr- BY: PUBLIC SERVICES COMITTEE - Henry William Hoot, Chairman IN RE: FY80 OAKLAND LIVINGSTON HUMAN SERVICE AGENCY WORK EXPERIENCE/TRANSPORTATION CONTRACT, CETA TITLE TI-B TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMITSSIONERS: Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous Resolutions NO. 6546 and 8883 applied for and was granted the designation as Prime Sponsor by the U. S. Department of Labor to administer the provisions of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 and the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act Amendments of 1978; and WHEREAS the FY80 CETA Master and Annual. Plan for Oakland County vas approved under Resolution No 9121; and WHEREAS an initial planning estimate of $573,750 was approved for expenditure for this OLHSA contract under Resolution No, 9121; and WHEREAS additional contract negotiations resulted in a. Work Experience and Transportation agreement amounting to $1,112,470 and $138,334 respectively, the total being $1,250,804; and WBEREAS the line item budget for this contract was approved by the Oakland County Public Services Committee on January 15, 1980 and is currently pending approval of the full Board of Commissioners. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners receive and approve the Work Experience/Transportation contract for the Oakland Livingston Human. Service Agency for the total amount of $1,250,804. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a written quarterly report for review of performance objectives will be submitted to the Public Services Committee and the Oakland. County Board of Commissioners. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairperson of the Board of Camissioners be and is hereby authorized to execute said contract.
