HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1980.02.28 - 11899FEBRUARY 28, 1980 MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION BY: PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE - Henry William Hoot, Chairman IN RE: 1980/1981 JAIL It•ARDING FEES TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chcii-person, Ladies and GenT.e.m.m: WHEREAS, the current daily rate of $13.75 per day for all local ,..?* government and $19.53 per day for Federal agencies, who use the Oakland County Jail for prisoner confinement was established in 1979; and WHEREAS, your Committee has reviewed the current rates and finds projected costs substantiate a rate increase for Oakland County Jail Boarding Fees (eLr.-rr.=--•.'wiJH - attached schedule); and WHEREAS, your Committee recognizes the fact that Oakland County subsidizes many programs involving local communities who utilize such services and wish to continue this policy with the 1980/1981 boarding fees. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Corn hereby 130..•P81 Oakland County Jai sing fee increase :.:19.53 per day to $21.00 per day in 1980 and $22.48 per day in "i981 for Federal and State agencies who use the Oakland County Jail for prisoner confinement and that the current rate of $13.75 per day currently ch. to local units of government be continued.
