IN RE: CETA FY 80 MODIFICATIONS
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous
Resolutions No. 0546 and 8883 applied for and was granted the designation
as Prime Sponsor by the U. S. Department of Labor to administer the pro-
visions of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 and the
Comprehensive EMployment and Training Act Amendments of 1978; and
IMMEAS the funding levels for FY 80 programs has decreased from
planning estimates announced in Nay 1979 from the mount of $23,900,572
to final levels awarded in December 1979 in the amount of $22,847,356
representing a net decrease of $1,053,216, and;
WHEREAS specific contracts must be modified to be consistent with
these net changes in funding availability.
NOW TIMETTORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners accept and approve the decreased funding and contracts in
accordance with the attached schedules.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Federal Grant be modified con-
sistent with this decreased funding.
BE IT FUP7al?, RESOLVED that a written quarterly report for review
of performance objectives will be submitted to the Public Services Committee
and the Oakland. County Board of Commissioners.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairperson of the Board of Com-
missioners be and is hereby authorized to execute said contracts and
modifications.
The Public Services Committee, by Henry William Hoot, Chairman,
moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution.

Q.E.T.A. TITLE VI FY-80
Resolution #9207 designated $312,400.00 to be used for Employability
Development Planning for P.S.E. participants. As a result of Title VI funds
having been voluntarily forfeited back to the Prime Sponsor, an additional
$9,000. has been identified for Employability Development Planning. These
funds are delineated in the Title VI Recapture and Reallocation Resolution
that be before the Public Services Committee on January , 1980 and
before the Oakland County Board of Commissioners on • 1980. The
total amount of funds designated for Employability Development Planning between
these two Resolutions is $321,400.00. Following is a breakdown of how those
funds are to be dispersed.
