Gabler, Jr., Chairperson Oakland County Board of Commissioners Walter Moore County Commissioner, District #7 Hubert Price, Jr. County Commissioner, District #8 M isc. 9351 .• • IN RE: PROCLAMATION - March 24 THROUGH MARCH 29, 1980 HIGH FEVER FOLLIES WEEK WHEREAS, the Pontiac Jaycee's and jaycette's have made a positive decision to rGise and donate S5,00 (,) to the Children's Ward of the new Pontiac General Hospital; and WHEREAS, during the sixty years of their existence, they have shown great concern for the welfare of our youth through such projects as Pontiac Junior Miss, Jaycee Park, Mystery Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, and many more; and WHEREAS, they have decided to revive the "High Fever Follies", formerly run by the Hospital Auxiliary, which will be held at the Pontiac Northern High School Auditorium on March 27 and 28, 1980, with a noon matinee on Saturday, March 29, 1980; and WHEREAS, the Jaycee's of Pontiac have solicited the great talent of Francine Anderson, Carl Tenuta, Portia Fields and Alonzo Seabolt, along with the support of doctors, nurses, hospital staff and a cast of North Oakland citizens; and WHEREAS, the Pontiac Jaycee organization has shown the true spirit of giving that has made our community and country great. NOW THEREFORE, I, Wallace F. Gabler, Jr., Chairperson of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners and joined by County Commissioners Walter Moore and Hubert Price, Jr hereby proclaims the week of March 24 through 29, 1980 as HIGH FEVER FOLLIES WEEK and urges all County residents to support and attend this activity.
