IN RE: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL AUTHORITY FOR SECTION 312
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF CCsq,...':ML .:iflNERS
WHEREAS, the County out lK:rized the Corrmunity Development Divi-ion to administer
the Section 312 Rehabilitation Loan Program in rest of making by .ons
available to eligible persons residing in communities participating in the County program; and
WHEREAS, since assuming respon--,ib;l':v for of the program in 1979 a
total of S520,000 in loans have beeli 9,-anted; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development in recognition of the
quality of administration rogram by the County has offered final loan approval
authority to Oakland County; and
WHEREAS, th - . ibility will significantly benefit the rehabilitation
objectives of the Counr y by expeaning the granting of loans thereby saving time for all
parties; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Advisory Council has recommended the
County assume oop:.:ival authority 312
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Eoard of Commissioners
authori -7. Pk. C. ........ Executive to execute on behalf of the County of Oakland an "Agreement
fat Pub /al of Section 312 Rehabiiitelion Loans," and to act as the authorized
sentative of the County of Oakland in connection therewith.
BE IT FU 7-7,1 77:SOLVED that the County or the Deputy County
Executive for Operatirns- on behalf of the County of Oakland, :77r7i'7-,1-, 312 loans under the
provisions of sal( , and sue Jirectej approve such loans only
in accordance with the policy of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and
subject to availability of funds as dere:.:nined by the Department.
