Miscellaneous Resolution # 8783 February 1, 1979

IN RE: TRANSFER OF POSITIONS BETWEEN JUVENILE COURT, CANT" OAKLAND AND CHILDREN'S
VILLAGE
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the Juvenile Court assigned cer ain Juvenile Court personnel to
work at Camp Oakland and Children's Village and a signed certain Children's
Village staff members to work in the Juvenile Con t clinic in order to improve
services to children throughout the Juvenile Cour system; and
WHEREAS Camp Oakland and Children's Vii age are functionally part of
the Juvenile Court system, but are recognized bud:etarily as divisions of the
Human Services department; and
WHEREAS assigning these positions and p:rsonnel budgetarily where
they are working requires interdepartmental trans ers; and
WHEREAS the Director of Human Services .nd the Budget Division have
reviewed and concurred with the proposed transfer-; and
WHEREAS the proposed transfers would re- it in a slightly favorable
budgetary impact (approximately $500.00) because 'ire positions would be charged
to the Child Care Fund rather than general salariz-,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the fs lowing positions and necessary
funds be transferred as shown:

The Personnel Committee, by John J. Ma. ald, Chairperson, moves the
adoption of the foregoing resolution.

Miscellaneous Resolution 0783 adopted by the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners at their meeting held on February 1, 1979
