McDonald, Chairperson IN RE: 1979 SALARY INCREASE FOR THE ATTORNEY CUSSES WITHIN THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S OFFICE TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: 1 WHEREAS in December of 1978 this Boar approved a 7% salary increase for all non-union employees effective January 1, 1979, and WHEREAS the Assistant Prosecutors did ot receive an increase because they were members of a bargaining unit and no n contract had been negotiated for 1979, and WHEREAS on February 8, 1979 the Assisiblint Prosecutors voted to decertify from the union, and WHEREAS they are now non-union employs still receiving 1978 salary rates, and WHEREAS the requested 7% salary incre e would give the Assistant I Prosecutors the same increase received by all o er non-union employees for 1979; and WHEREAS your Personnel Committee has *viewed this request and concurs, i NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the ollowing classifications in the Prosecuting Attorney's Office receive a 7% sala increase retroactive to January 1, 1979: SENIOR TRIAL LAWYER, ASSISTAN PROSECUTOR III, ASSISTANT PROSECUTOR II, ASSISTANT PROSECUTOR I,PROSECUTO 'S TRAINEE and LAW CLERK. The Personnel Committee, by John J. M onald, Chairperson, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. P?
