9181 DATE November 1, 1979 MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION runw SERVIC Hen Hoot Ath'Alrman BY: PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE - HENRY W. HOOT, CHAIRMAN RE: COMIINITY DEVELOPMENT CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT REALLOCATION TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, Community Development funds have been set aside in a Contingency Account over the past several years which have derived from communities dropping from the program, inability to identify a project or activity in a community which meets HUD requirements or balances remaining from completed projects, and, WHEREAS, it is important and in the best interest of the County and the communities participating in the Community Development program to reallocate Contingency Account funds to specific projects so that these can be expended on needed prolects in a community, without delay, and, WHEREAS, the Oakland County Community Development Rousing Council, made up of representatives from all participating communities, has recommended reallocation of Contingency Account funds in accordance with the attached listing, and, WHEREAS, the Community Development Advisory Council has concurred in this recommendation. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board ©f Commissioners approve reallocation of Community Development Contingency Account funds as shown on the attached listing. The Public Services Committee by Henry W. Root, Chairman, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. RECOMIENDED ALLOCATION COMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CONTINGENCY (in thousands of dollars) TOWNSHIP OF AVON $40 To add amenities to senior housing now under construction. FARMINGTON 40 Sidewalk and approach area to new senior housing ready to start.
