IN RE: FY79 YETP Plan and Allocations
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS:
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the Okaland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous
Resolution #6546 applied for and was granted the designation as Prime Sponsor
by the U.S. Department of Labor to administer the provisions of the Comprehen-
sive Employment and Training Act of 1973; and
WHEREAS the application for CETA Title III - YETP FY79 was made for
the amount of $1,682,556 and the corresponding plan was submitted on September
7, 1978 with advanced signature; and
WHEREAS the application for CETA Title III - YETP FY79 has been approved
by the U.S. Department of Labor; and
WHEREAS procedure requires that Oakland County as Prime Sponsor accept
the approved application.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Com-
missioners accept the application as submitted in the amount of $1,682,556 for
Youth Employment and Training Programs (YETP) and subcontract in accordance
with the attached schedule.
The Public Services Committee, by Henry William Hoot, Chairman, moves
the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
