RESOLUTION NO. __nog April 7, 1977
RE: ARCHITECT SELECTION AND AWARD OF ARCHITECTURAL
SERVICES CONTRACT-OLD COUNTY HOSPITAL RENOVATION.
BY: PLANNING AND BUILDING COMMITTEE
TO: OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, in conformance with Miscellaneous Resolution #7831,
a Selection Committee evaluated seventeen (17) architectural firms
for the renovation of the Old County Hospital; and
WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Selection Committee,
your Planning and Building Committee hereby recommends the retention
of the architectural firm of Tarapata, MacMahon, Paulsen Associates,
Inc., of Bloomfield Hills; and
WHEREAS, $60,000.00 has been appropriated for the demolition
and design work in Miscellaneous Resolution #7831.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the firm of Tarapata, MacMahon,
Paulsen Associates, Inc. be selected as the architectural firm for
the renovation of the Old County Hospital.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the architectural services contract
be awarded to Tarapata, MacMahon, Paulsen Associates, Inc. in an
amount not to exceed $45,000.00 and that the Chairman of the Board
of Commissioners be and is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
with this firm on behalf of the County.
The Planning and Building Committee, by Richard R. Wilcox,
Chairman, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
