IN RE: MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION -TXCESS PROPERTY
IN BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP ----
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the Michigan Department of Transportation owns excess property in the
Township of Bloomfield which description is:
A triangular -shaped parcel of vacant land in Bloomfield Township,
Oakland County. The parcel lies on the west side of US-I0
(Telegraph Road), southeast.400 feet from Klingensmith Road, just
south of the City of Pontiac. It has 129 feet of frontage on
Telegraph and contains 0.2 acres more or less. (Legal description
Attachment L A').

WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation is offering said property (Sales
#M-1015-A) for sale at a public auction on December 7, 1982: and
WHEREAS, the minimum bid price of said property- is $9,200.00; and -
WHEREAS, your Planning and Building Committee has reviewed the described property
and finds no need for said property.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland •County Board of Commissioners has
no interest in the purchase of said property and therefore will not submit a bid.
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Planning ahd Building Committee, I move the
adoption of the foregoing resolution.

the West quarter corner of Section 5; thence South 46° 21' East, 96.70
feet, rcasured on the Southerly line of said Telegraph Road; thence South
43° 39' West, 108.93 feet to a point on the West use of Section 5; thence
North 2' 21' East, along West line of Section 6, 3L5.00 feet to the place
of beginning; ALSO land in the Northwest Quarter (NO 114) of Section 5,
1214, R10E, described as: Beginning at a- point on the Southerly line of
Telegraph Road (150.00 feet wide) which is North 2' 21' East, 499,35 feet,
measured on the West line of Section S and South 46° 21' East, 95.70 feet,
measured on the Southerly line of said Telegraph Road from the West quarter
corner oF Section 5„ proceeding Sduth 43° 39' West, 108,93 feet to a point;
thence. South 2' 21' West, 121,22 feet to a point; thence, North 43' 39' East,
200.00 feet to a point on the Southerly line of Telegraph Rood; thence
North 46' 21' West along said Southerly line of Telegraph Road, 80.00 feet
to place of beginning, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northeasterly 54 feet
•.(as measured at right angles to Old Existing Telegraph Road, 150 feet wide)
of the lands herein described.
Fluid mineral and gas rights are not included with the property as
t,75° they were retained by the previous owners under provisions of Act 22
Of the Public Acts- of 1962, as amended.
