HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1981.09.17 - 13616Misc. 81307 By Mr. Murphy IN RE: APPROPRIATION FOR APPORTIONMENT EXPENSES To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemenl WHEREAS Act 261 of Public Acts of 1966 as amended requires the County Commissioners' Districts be realigned to accomodate population density as a result of the census; and WHEREAS the 1980 census requires these dit)tricts be reviewed and, if necessary, adjusted accordingly; and WHEREAS the Reapportionment Committee is to submit various proposals to accomodate the population shifts; and WHEREAS it is necessary for the Planning Division to review each proposal as to its accuracy; and WHEREAS it is estimated that $23,000 in overtime will be necessary to verify the proposals. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Rule XI-C of this Board, the Finance Committee finds $23,000 is the estimate overtime cost necessary for this purpose. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners appropriates $23,000 from the 1981 Contingency Account and transfers said amount to the 1981 Overtime Reserve Account as follows: 950-02-oo-999121 Contingency (23,000) 993-02-00-9993 Overtime Reserve 23,000 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the actual amount of overtime used for this purpose will be (ransferred from the Overtime Reserve Account to the Planning Division Budget in accordance with the Overtime Control Program procedures as adopted ky Ulis Board. .
