HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1981.09.17 - 13635Misc. 81335 By Mr. Lanni IN RE: ESTABLISH IMPOUNDMENT FEE FOR LIVESTOCK To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Oakland County Animal Control Division is mandated by Public Act 328 of P.A. Acts of 1976 to impound livestock running at large; and WHEREAS in the past, no impoundment fee for livestock has been charged for labor and equipment expended; and WHEREAS the impoundment costs for livestock has increased substantially in the past few years; and WHEREAS a pick up fee is charged to dog owners claiming their animals. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners does hereby establish the Oakland County Animal Division livestock impoundment fee at ninety dollars ($90.00) per incident effective December 1, 1981. Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution. PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE James E. (2) A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the resolution was adopted.
