City Election - November 5, 1991
The Bi-partisan City Canvassing Board met Thursday, November 7, 1991, and, after examining and
auditing precinct returns for the City Election held November 5, 1991, determined the following:
Dante J. Lanzetta, Jr. and Rex A. Martin were reelected to the City Commission for four-year
terms.
Thomas P. Hall was elected to the Library Board for a four-year term.
Thomas F. Sweeney was reelected to the Library Board for a four-year term.
Also, the three charter propositions passed.
Attached is a copy of the official canvass.

'Minutes of a Regular Meeting of the Bi-partisan Board of
of Birmingham, County of Oakland, Michigan, held in City
seventh day of Nobember, 1991, at 5:30 P.M.
Present: Shirley Watson, Janet Edgerly and James Robb
Edward Taras
Pol:LBooks were checked for execution of Oaths of Office, entry of names of
voters in numerical order, and completion of all affidavits and entries as
required.
The official Statements of Votes for all precincts were tabulated.
;Issuance of Certificates of Election were approved and signed as follows;
Dante.J.,Lanzetta, Jr. was reelected to a four-year term on the.City Commission.
Rex .A.Martin was reelected to a four-year term on the City Commission.
Thomas p, Hall was elected to a four-year term on the Library Board.
Thomae'F.' Sweeney was reelected to a four-year term on the Library Board.

'Yof Oakland, Michigan, on November 5, 1991, between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and:
00 P.M., the questions hereinafter set forth were submitted, and
WHEREAS, returns from the voting precincts at said election have been filed
with the City Clerk and have been presented to and examined by the Board of
Canvassers.

.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The Board of Canvassers hereby determines that the votes cast at the Regular
Municipal Election held November 5, 1991, on Proposition No. 1 - Charter '
Amendment - were as follows:
Proposition No. 1
-Shall Chapter III, Section 19 be amended to make clear that City Commissioners
shall -receive the current compensation of five dollars ($5.00) for each
Commission meeting attended?
