Included in the 1982 program are three patching jobs and one complete
resurfacing. In that order, they are:
1. Mental Retardation Center
Remove deteriorated asphalt and patch the inbound half of the entrance
boulevard (the outbound half was patched in 1981) and the service road to
the rear of the building. These surfaces were installed as part of the
original building construction - in 1971.
2. Campus Drive
Remove .deteriorated asphalt and patch that portion of the west end of this
entrance road to the Administrative Annex and Work Release Facility. This
road was built in the 1950s,
3, Public Works Buildina . . . . . . . . . . .
• Approximately 20 percent of the asphalt surface has deteriorated. Although
the patching required is similar to that mentioned for the previous two
locations, the extent is much larger. This lot was built as part of the
building project in 1970 and has a capacity of 225. Portions have been
patched earlier.
4. South Parking Lot
This is a major repair job. Deteriorated asphalt will be removed, patched
and then the entire lot will be resurfaced. This lot was built in 1959 and
has never been resurfaced although minor patching has been done from time to
time. The lot was intended to provide parking for the public and has a
capacity of 190 cars.
