SUGGE1OR4 SYSTEM
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, citizens and errrpl--.'yr r.s of Oakland County have extensive exposure to the
many services of Oakland County Government, and
WHEREAS.,-fhoSY -oitRiiens- and ices possess the to -cOotacts- -
with Oakland County Government into E:--:itive suggestions for the (1) improvement of
- existing s vice delivery systems, (2) creation of programs to meet the unmet needs of
Oakland County Citizens, and (3) 7"1 or merger of pr',.. ;.:a 5 that are no !-
needed, and
WHEREAS, significant savings in government operating costs antl improved :
morale may result from such a suggestion system, and
WHEREAS, many progressive businesses and governments utilize suggestion sy:.
. generate ideas to improve their operations, and
WHEREAS, the Oakland County Poard of Commissioners seeks to mobilize the valuable
resource of employee and citizen talent to improve the operation of Oakland County
Government.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Bo(
authorizes and directs that a study he undertaken t o de ve lop effo orrve
Oakland County Citizen-Employee Government Improvement Suggestion System, and

the Co7ittee to report back to the Board. There were no objections.
