RESOLUTION NO. 7539
RE: LEASE AGREEMENT WITH
OAKLAND COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION
BY: PLANNING AND BUILDING COMMITTEE
TO: THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, the Oakland County Road Commission has agreed to
lease approximately 350 square feet of office space at the rate
of One ($1.00) Dollar per year, to the County of Oakland for a
satellite Treasurer's Office at its building located at 31001
Lahser Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan; and
WHEREAS, such satellite Treasurer's Office would be a
convenience for the payment of taxes to the citizens of South
Oakland County; and
WHEREAS, your Committee recommends that the County of Oak-
land enter into such lease.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Oakland
agrees to lease approximately 350 square feet of office space
on the ground floor of the Oakland County Road Commission Building
located at 31001 Lahser Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan, for a term,
of two (2) years at an annual rate of One ($1.00) Dollar.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Oakland County
Board of Commissioners be and he is hereby authorized to execute a
Lease in the form attached hereto on behalf of the County of Oakland.
The Planning and Building Committee, by Mr. Patrick K. Daly,
Chairman, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution.

THIS LEASE AGREEMENT entered into this day of
LEASE
, A.D., 1976,. by and between the OAKLAND COUNTY ROAD
COMMISSION, hereinafter called "Lessor", whose address is 31001
Lahser Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan, and the COUNTY OF OAKLAND,
a Michigan Constitutional Corporation, hereinafter called "Lessee",
1200 North Telegraph Road, Pontiac, Michigan.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Lessor is the owner of the premises known and
designated as 31001 Lahser Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan, which is
a part of lands owned and used by the Lessor as offices for the
'Oakland County Road Commission; and
WHEREAS, Lessee desires to lease approximately 350 square
feet of office space for the purpose of providing a satellite office
of the Oakland County Treasurer.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
The Lessor does hereby let and lease to the Lessee, subject
to the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, 350 square feet
of office space on the ground floor of its building located at 31001
Lahser Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan, for a term of two (2) years
commencing on the first day of May, 1976 and ending on the first
day of May, 1978, for the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar per year. The
Lessor does hereby grant and convey to the Lessee:
1. For as long as the lease agreement remains in .effect, the
right of ingress and egress to the premises described as 31001
Lahser Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan.
2. The Lessor agrees to provide all maintenance and custodial
services at no additional cost to the Lessee.
3. The Lessor agrees to provide all heat, lights and other
Utilities, except telephone service
4. Lessor agrees to provide two employee parking spaces so -
designated for the exclusive use of the employees of the Oakland
County Treasurer's Office.

Moved by Daly supported by Murphy the report be accepted and resolution #7539
be adopted.
The Chairman requested that Hugh Dohany, County Treasurer, be allowed to
address the Board. There were no objections.
Mr. Dohany addressed the Board.

A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the report was accepted and
resolution #7539 was adopted.

I, Lynn D. Allen, Clerk of the County of Oakland and
having a seal, do hereby certify that I have compared the annexed copy of
Miscellaneous Resolution #7539 adopted by the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners at their meeting held on June 3, 1976
with the original record thereof now remaining in my
office, and that it is a true and correct transcript
therefrom, and of the whole thereof.
