In Re: Memorial Resolution John H. Boeberitz

To The Oakland County Board of Commissioners
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
John A. Boeberitz„ one of Rochester,Michigan's leading citizens,
passed away on May 29, 1976, at the age of 59, having resided at 347 Northlawn, and

He was a former Mayor and city councilman, a Rochester-area historian,
and a leader in numerous community organizations, and
In 1969, he served as general chairman of the Rochester Centennial
Celebration, and was Chairman of the Rochester Bicentennial Commission and Rochester
Historical Society and was a member of the Oakland County Bicentennial Commission, and
John A. Boeberitz was twice named man of the year by the Rochester
Chamber of Commerce. He was president of the 100 Club of Rochester and past president
of the Rochester Kiwanis Club.
Surviving is his wife , Sally, his mother, Mrs. Anna Boeberitz, a brother
Frank and a sister, Lucille.
John A. Boeberitz was a dedicated man, dedicated to his community in the
interests and best welfare of the citizens of his community and he will be long remembered.
Mr. Chairman, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
