NCI'i , THE FEFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners request the Michigan Legislature to enact legisiation which would reconstitute the Oakland Cou r-) board of Commissioners in the followIng manner. The board would be comprised of 15 elected members representing -districts in the some manner as currently prescribed by law on a one man, one vote basis; and that. the members be elected in the following runner; those from odd numbered districts to be elected the same year as the C77 of the state of Michigan; and those from even -numLered districts to be elected in the same year as the President of the United States; and that the E=Lers be elected on a non-partisan basis. Mr. Chairman, I rove the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
