HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1981.04.23 - 14294anni, Chairman VE THE FOREGOING April 23, 1981 RESOLUTION NO. 8157 RE: DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY HELD BY SHERIFF BY: PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE TO: THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, the Sheriff of Oakland County, by letter dated March 24, 1980, has requested authority from this Board to dis- pose of recovered stolen property which has been unclaimed for six months or more after recovery, such authority being neces- sary pursuant to the provisions of Act 54 of the Public Acts of 1959, as amended; and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that authority to dispose of such unclaimed property be and the same is hereby granted to the Sheriff of Oakland County, such unclaimed property to be disposed of in the manner prescribed in Act 54 of the Public Acts of 1959, as amended. A list of the recovered stolen pro- perty is attached hereto. MR.
