WATERi-ORD HISTORICAL COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Waterford Historical Committee, chaired , 'az,
has diligently during the last 13 months to have the old Wate:foici
dcoted a Historical District by the State Historical Commission; and
WHEREAS, the fruits of their labors produced archives of 38 houses in this
district on Andersonville Road between Dixie Highway and Airport Road, and
produced a more personal aspect to the celebration of this Country's Bicentennial
for the residents of Waterford; and
WHEREAS, these volunteers -- Mary Naz, Linda Baker, Sue Danhausen,
Bob and Helen Hall, Patti Forster, Betty Hegedus, Mildred King Campbell, Veda
Eiselle, and Evelyn Seeterlin — have worked selflessly to provide their cc-- -ity
with a knowledge and pride in their her
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners hereby congratulates the Waterford Historical Committee fo,
achievements on behalf of their community, and wishes them much success in
their continuing efforts.
