Daly, Cl.rairman RE: TEMPORARY USE OF OLD HOSPITAL SPACE BY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR AUTOMOBILE STRIKE FOOD STAMP PROGRAM. BY: PLANNING AND BUILDING COMMITTEE TO: THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MR. CHAIRMAN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WHEREAS, the State Department of Social Services has requested temporary space for the distribution of food stamps to striking workers of the Ford Motor Company; and WHEREAS, there is vacant space available at the old Hospital as the result of the move to the new Medical Care Facility. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that 1,760 square feet of space at the old Hospital be allocated to the Department of Social Services for the life of the automotive industry strike. The Planning and Building Committee, by Patrick K. Daly, Chairman, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. PLANNING AND BUILDING COMMITTEE #7709 Moved by Daly supported by Roth the resolution be adopted. A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the resolution was adopted.
