Wilcox, Chairman IN RE: AWARDING OF CONTRACTS FOR SOCIAL SERVICES BUILDING SITE WORK - PHASE I, PROJECT #73-13R TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, pursuant to a Planning and Building Committee motion of February 6, 1975 bids were received on March 12, 1975 for Project #73-13R; and WHEREAS the County Executive's Department of Central Services, Facilities and Operations Division and the Planning and Building Committee recommend that a contract be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as follows: Project #73-13R - Social Services Building Site Work - Phase I to Flynn Paving Company of Southfield, Michigan in the amount of $52,200; and WHEREAS your Finance Committee concurs in said recommendation; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS' 1. The Finance Committee, at its meeting of March 27, 1975 concurred with the recommendation of the Planning and Building Committee to accept the bid of the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $52,200 and to provide funding for a total project cost of $66,000, 2. That the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a contract with Flynn Paving Co. of Southfield, Mich. on behalf of the County of Oakland. 3. That this award shall not be effective until the awardee has been notified in writing by the County Executive's Department of Central Services, Facilities and Operations Division. 4. That pursuant to Rule XI, C of this Board the Finance Committee finds the total project sum for Project #73-13R of $66,000 is available in the Utility Fund. The Finance Committee, by Richard R. Wilcox, Chairman, and with the concurrence of the Planning and Building Committee, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution. FINANCE COMMITTEE Richard R.
