Wilcox, Chairman IN RE: AWARDING OF CONTRACTS FOR ALTERATION AND RENOVATION OF BUILDING C, SOCIAL SERVICES - PROJECT #74-22 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS, pursuant to Miscellaneous Resolution #7011, bids were received on March 19, 1975 for Project #74-22; and WHEREAS the County Executive's Department of Central Services, Facilities and Operations Division and the Planning and Building Committee recommend that a contract be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as follows: Project #74-22 - Alteration and renovation of Building C, Social Services to General-Electrical-Mechanical, Inc. of Milford, Mich, in the amount of $15,889; and WHEREAS your Finance Committee concurs in said recommendation: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Finance Committee, at its meeting of March 27, 1975, concurred with the recommendations of the Planning and Building Committee to accept the bid of the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $15,889 and provide funding for a total project cost of $19,400. 2. That the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a contract with General-Electrical-Mechanical, Inc. of Milford, Mich, on behalf of the County of Oakland. 3, That this award shall not be effective until the awardee has been notified in writing by the County Executive's Department of Central Services, Facilities and Operations Division, 4. That pursuant to Rule XI-C of this Board the Finance Committee finds the total project sum for Project #74-22 of $19,400 is available in the Building Fund. The Finance Committee, by Richard Ro Wilcox, Chairman, and with the concurrence of the Planning and Building Committee, moves the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
