Wilcox, Chairman Finance Committee RE: 1975 BUDGET AMENDMENTS TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS due to current economic conditions it is anticipated that a short fall in Non-Property Tax revenues will occur during the 1975 Budget Year, and WHEREAS, the current Budget forecast indicates that this short-fall will occur primarily in the following areas: Clerk/Register 100,000 Land Transfer Tax 250,000 Sheriff 75,000 Social Services - General Relief 50,000 State Income Tax 150,000 Use of Money & Property 300,000 Total 925,000 and WHEREAS said current forecast projects a 1975 Budget deficit of approx- imately $1,511,126, and WHEREAS generally accepted budgetary custom and procedures requires an amendment to the 1975 Budget, and WHEREAS your Finance Committee finds it wise and prudent fiscal management to initiate such an amendment, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that following appropriations from prior years be closed out to the General Fund Unappropriated Surplus Account (a) Human Services Agency for Oakland County - $154,798.00 (b) Solid Waste Implementation Program Plan - $54,348.76 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 1975 Budget be amended as follows: 1975 Budget Line item Present Approp.
