Dupleavy, Chairman TN RE: NA.R02 oc," ENTOPCT•ENT - PROC1\1n1 CONTINUA:HON TO THF OATUAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIOLRS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Contlemen: WHEREAS, the Onl,land County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous Resolution 15684 applied for and received federal funds to establish a multi-jurisdictional Narcotics Enforcement Team; and MIEREAS, fed eral funding through L.F.A.A. grants were jointly funded with federal, state, county and local funds; and WHEREAS, the federal funds For the Narcotics Enforcement Team program will expire on June 30, 1975; and WilF.REAS, the L.F,.A.A. grant, in part, provided that Oakland County end local participating units agree to continue the N. ii T. at substantially the same form and level for at least one year from local resources following the expiration of federal funds; and WHEPF.Ac,, the N.E.A, program has proved effective and state and local officials have expressed willingness to continue financial support of the program. NOT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commisionsers approves the continuation of the N.F.T. program from July 1, 1975 to Pecember 31, lP75 with Oakland County's share not to exceed S69,450 and consistent with the attached budget. The Public Services Committee, by James W, Dunlcavy, Chnirmarn, moves the adoption of the forcoing resolution. Wilcox, Chairman #7117 Moved by Dunleavy supported by Perinoff that resolution #7117 be adopted.
