IN RE: C.E.T.A. TITLE II PRIVATE NON-PROFIT AGENCY ALLOCATION BUDGET
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIoNERS
Mr, Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous
Resolution #6546 applied for and was granted the designation by the U.S,
Department of Labor of Prime Sponsor to administer the provisions of Title IT
of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973; and
WHEREAS, Oakland County's C.E.T.A. Title IT Grant Application has
been filed and approved by the U.S, Department of Labor; and
WHEREAS, C.E.T.A. Title II regulations permit the participation
of private non-profit Human Social Service Agencies; and
WHEREAS, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous
Resolution #6998 approved a partial budget for private non-profit social
agencies; and
WHEREAS, 8371,905 are presently forfeited from Title II and Title VI
1976 monies; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Title II budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners adopt the following non-Profit agency budgets:
Boys Club of Royal oak 26,720
Clinton Valley Boy Scouts of America 16,681
Oakland County Volunteer Bureau
Lakeside Community Health Center

consideration of the resolution.

Moved by Dunleavy supported by Roth the resolution be adopted.
Moved by Lennon supported by Fortino the resolution be amended to include CAPAD
of the City of Ferndale in addition to the other: 4 agencies.
Discussion followed.
Moved by Aaron supported by Coy the resolution be referred back to the Public
Services Committee.
