Shall the City of Clawson, County of Oakland, Michigan, be authorized to pledge its unlimited tax full faith and credit for payment of the City's share of the George
W. Kuhn Drainage District Drain Bonds in the total outstanding principal amount of $5,714,287, originally issued in series between 2000 and 2008 and payable
through 2029, and the City's share of the City of Royal Oak North Arm Relief Drain Revenue Bonds, Series 1998 in the principal amount of 11,559,774 and payable
through 2020, which were all issued for the purpose of paying the cost of financing and refinancing certain drain improvements relating to the George W. Kuhn

Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Canvassers of the City of Clawson,
County of Oakland, Michigan held in the Municipal Building, 425 N. Main Street,
Clawson, MI on Thursday, the fourth day of November, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
PRESENT: J. Boggio, J. Kurkowski and B. Schroeder
ABSENT: R. Dylewski
Also present was Machete Kukuk, City Clerk.
MOTION BY: B. Schroeder
SUPPORTED BY: J. Kurkowski
RESOLVED, that Member J. Boggio be appointed Chairman and Member
J. Kurkowski be appointed Vice Chairman.
AYES: J. Boggio, J. Kurkowski and B. Schroeder

ABSTAINED: None

MOTION CARRIED:
The City Clerk presented to the Board of Canvassers the official returns of
the Election Inspectors as to the votes cast in said City at the General City
Election held in the City of Clawson on Tuesday, the 3 1d day of November, 2009.
City Clerk Kukuk handed out copies of the unofficial returns of the Election
Inspectors — November 3, 2009 — General City Election to the board members.
City Clerk Kukuk explained that the election ran well with only a tabulator
problem at Precinct (1). Out of 721 Absentee Ballots issued 680 Absentee
Ballots were returned.
The Board proceeded to canvass said returns.
The following preamble and resolution was offered by Member J. Boggio
and seconded by Member J. Kurkowski:
WHEREAS, at a General City Election duly called and held in the City of
Clawson, County of Oakland, Michigan on Tuesday, the 3 td day of November,
2009 and between the hours of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and 8:00 o'clock p.m., the
candidates for City Offices hereinafter set forth were submitted; and
WHEREAS, returns from the voting precincts at said election have been
filed with the Clerk and have been presented to and examined by the Board of
Canvassers.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that:
1. The Board of Canvassers hereby determines that the votes cast at
said Election held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 for candidates for
City Offices, were as follows:
The whole number of votes given for the office of Mayor for a two (2)
year term was Two Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Five.
The whole number of votes given for the office of Councilmember, to to
be elected for a four (4) year term, was Four Thousand One Hundred
Ninety Nine.
