HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1974.06.20 - 15152IN RE: AArING OF CONTRACT:', FOR COURTHOUSE A M.T L2NP_T,T,) RATIONS (PROJECTS 72 -8 A.Y„ June 20, 1974 Miscellaneous Resolution 6738 BY: FINANCE COMMITTEE - Fred D, Houghton, Chairman TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY 130ARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS pursuant to Miscellaneous Resolution!-/658, bids were received on May 29, 1974 for Courthouse alterations project 02-8; and WHEREAS the Facilities and Operations Division of the Board of Auditors and the Buildings and Grounds Committee recommends that contracts be awarded to the lowest responsible bidders as follows: 1) E. F. HAUSERVAN COMPANY for the Architectural Trades portion of project in the amount of $75,823,00. 2) FAMES AND BROWN, INC for the Mechanical Trades portion of project in the amount of $31,350.00, which is base_ bid plus acceptance of all alternates 3) REED ELECTRIC COMPANY for the Electrical Trades portion of project in the amount of $55,223.00, whichwas base bid plus acceptance of all alternates: and WHEREAS your Finance Committee concur in said recommendation, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1) The Finance Committee, on its meeting of June 18, 1974, concurred with the recommendations of the Buildings and Grounds Committee; 2) That the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a contract with E.F, Hauserman for Architectural Trades; Eames and Brown, Inc, for Mechanical Trades and Reed Electric Company for Electrical Trades on behalf of the County- of Oakland; 3) That this award shall not be effective until the awardees have been notified in writing by the Oakland County Board of Auditors; 4) That pursuant to Rule XI, C of this Board, the Finance Committee finds the Total project sum of $206,000 available in the Buildins Fund [[ ;[ H Miscellaneous Resolution IN RE AVIARDING OF CONTRACTS FOR COURTHOUSE ALTERATIONS CFROJECTS 72-8 AT,, M.T. and E,T._). 1974 County Capital Program (Courthouse Complex Alterations): Projects 72-8 A.T., M.T., and E.T. 1) Architectural Trades $ 75,823.00 2) Mechanical Trades 31,350.00 3) Electrical Trades 55,223.00 4) Carpeting 7,500.00 5) Maintenance charges (moving, signs) 15,0.00.00 6) Telephone charges (cost of relocating phones) 3,115.00 7) Jury Assembly Room Furniture 3,700.00 8) Administration 200.00 9) Construction Supervision 7,000.00 10) Contingency 7,089.00 TOTAL PROJECT $ 206,000.00 The Finance Committee, by Fred D.
