RES. #6665 - SALARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR CHEF- SECURITY OFFICER AND ASSISTANT CHIEF SECURITY OFFICEfl TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen: The Finance Committee has reviewed and with the Salary Adjustments proposed Tn subject resolution; and further, that the necessary funds will be derived from Non-Budgeted sources, FINANCE COMMITTEE Fred D. Houghten, laIrman Moved by Kasper supported by Richardson :the report be accepted and Resolution #6665 be adopted. Discussion followed. Moved by Olson supported by Burley the resolution be referred to the Public Protections and Judiciary Committee. . M. Gabler moved that the resolution be laid on the table until a time certain. No support. Mr. Kasper requesed that Daniel T. Murphy, County Executive and Chairman of the Board of Auditors be allcoA to address the Board on this subject. There were no objections. Mr. MurpL7 Fressed the Board. Discussion fe3lowed, Mr. Lennon moved the previous question. Supported by Mr. Quinn. Mr. Gabler moved the referral be laid on the table. No support. The Chairman stated tho in favor of calling the previous question, say Aye, and those opposed, say No. The vote was as follows: AYES: Berman, Burley, Button, Coy, Douolas, Dunieavy, Gabler, Hobart, Hoot, . Houghten, Kasper,- Lennon, Mathews, Moffitt, Montante, Nowak, Olson, Patnales, Pernick, Quinn, Richardson, Vogt, Wilcox. (23) ,NAYS: Walker. (I) A sufficient majority having voted therefor, the Chairman called for a vote on the referral. The vote was as follows: AYES: Burley, Douglas, Hoot, Pernick, Walker, Berman. (6) NAYS: Button, Coy, Dunleavy, Gabler, Hobart, Houghten, -Kasper, Lennon, Mathews, Moffitt, Montante, Nowak, Olson, Patnales, Quinn, Richardson, Vogt, Wilcox. (13) A sufficient majority not having voted therefor, the motion failed. Discussion followed.
