IN RE: SUPPORT OF AMENDMENT TO H. B. 5516 -
CIRCUIT COURT REPORTERS" SALARIES
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the original bill H. B. .Y15Du Id set a minimum salary for Ci Jt Court
Reporters of $16,000.00, with the County paying the entire amount; and
WHEREAS the House of Representatives adopted an amendment that the
salary of Circuit Court Reporters will be determined "by the County Board of Commissioners"
and strikes out the the bill increasing their minimum salary to $16,000,00; and
1.17:REAS your Committee recomn he ,.7'.rnain in H. B. 5514;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners
hereby supports H. B. as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Legisl = equested not to remove
this amendment.
