Dear Mr. Spreen;
The citizens of Addison Township have approved at their Annual Meeting a budget for
the Township which includes the hiring of additional road patrol services for police
protection.
I am requesting a contract be submitted to our Tc .,-nship for one additional patrol
officer. We would like to increase our coverage s soon as possible. •Upon the
signing of this additional coverage we will have :wo regular officers under con-
tract. These two officers are to work within the confines of Addison Township
only on a daily basis. I am. requesting the officar currently on duty in our
Township on days (Mr. Roy Lewis) be assigned as Addison's officer on a perm-
anent basis.
The Township is to have a say in the selection of the officer. Any and all
personal assigned to our Township will report to the Township Office at least
once weekly.
At a later date I want to work with you, Oakland Township and the County on
securing an additional officer for the third shift to work the two townships.
Thanking you, I remain,
Sincerely, ,
