HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - 1973.03.14 - 15511• • Miscellaneous Resolution No, 62 1+8 Recommended by the BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS By Mr. Patna les Re: Sale of West 75 feet of Lot 90, Cass Lake Highland Subdivision, Waterford Township RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on September 8, 1970 the Oakland County Department of Public Works did acquire title to Lot 90, Cass Lake Highlands Subdivision, Waterford Township, at a price of $4,600,00, for the purpose of constructing a sanitary sewage pumping station. WHEREAS, in order to cOnstruct said pumping station, it was necessary to remove a sub-standard vacant dwelling and several trees on said Lot 90, and WHEREAS, said_ pumping station is now completed on the Easterly 75 feet of said Lot 90, and the Westerly 75 feet of said Lot 90 is no longer needed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for the sale of the Westerly 75 feet (60' wide, 75' long) of said Lot 90, Cass Lake Highland Subdivision, Waterford Township, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon sale of same, that the Chairman and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners be authorized to execute a warranty deed on behalf of the County of Oakland to accomplish transfer of title.
