IN RE: C.E.T.A. Title IID and Title VI Balance of County Training Allocations FY 81
ID TUE OAKLAND COUNTY APP OF COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous Resolutions
No, 9546 and 8883 applied for and was granted the designation as Prime Sponsor by
the U. S. Department of Labor to administer the provisions of the Comprehensive Employment
and Training Act of 1973 and the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act Amendments of
1978; and
WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous Resolution
No. 9551 approved Fiscal Year 1981 CETA Title IID and Vi Balance of County training
allocations for planning purposes; and \
NI WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners by Miscellaneous Resolution
NO. 9645 approved licensed training institutions to provide training opportunities for
Oakland County's Public Service Employment participants; and
WHEREAS the Oakland County Civil Counsel has requested the Employment and Training
Division to provide a listing of the subrecipient's and the dollar amounts used for
training; and
WHEREAS this Resolution has been approved unanimously by the Manpower Planning
Council.
NOW =BEFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approve
the distribution of CETA Titles IID and VI Training _Rinds in accordance with the attached
schedule.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners be and
is hereby authorized to execute said contracts,
Mr. Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I move the adoption
of the foregoing resolution.
